Humans - The Bleach Hollow
**\\Warning//**
For those of you who only watch the dubbed version, and/or don't read the manga, there could be some major spoilers in here!
[ I wrote COMPLETE bios :) ]

Ichigo Kurosaki – Our fearless hero! Sees spirits, gets Shinigami powers, saves the day; there ya go. Due to Ichigo’s strong spirit energy, and the careless way he lets it emanate unchecked, those around him have begun to fell its affects, awakening their own latent inborn power! This outta be good.
Ichigo poseses an amazing growth rate, achieving Shikai and Bankai in a remarkable amount of time. However, his Bankai alone isn't enough to stand against the Espada, so he it forced to call upon his inner Hollow and become a Vizard! Being as he is the main protagonist of the story, he usually takes the main role in most of the episodes, and the action is usually centered around him. Though he may not look it with that wild natrual orange hair, he's actually pretty smart (18th in his whole class), and gets labeled as a delinquent because of his looks. Nevertheless, he's a courageous guy who never backs down from a fight and will do whatever it takes to protect his friends. And yes, Ichigo in Japanese (depending on how it's read) does mean "strawberry", it can also be read to be "one who protects", go figure. If I took the time to list all his appearances in the individual arcs and what he did in each one like I did with the other Characters, we'd be here all day.

Isshin Kurosaki - Ichigo's crazy father that finds delight in ambushing him when he's sleeping, or really whenever he has the chance. He is very protective of his two daughters, Yuzu and Karin, but doesn't seem to care one way or another what Ichigo does and seems to care less about his schooling, saying that grades don't matter and he should hang out with friends more. The shocking truth about his true nature is revealed later in the show, when Grand Fisher, an Arrancar now, attacks KON in Ichigo's body thinking he the real thing. Before Grand Fisher deals the final blow, Isshin steps in, as a Shinigami and defeats Grand Fisher! It is implied by his cape and what he says that he is a former captain, though of which squad is undisclosed. chara_img.gif Isshin image by turk_aerith

Yuzu Kurosaki - The youngest sibling of the Kurosaki family, Yuzu is Ichigo's little sister. After Masaki died, Yuzu took it upon herself to take over her duties of cooking, cleaning and pretty much all the household maintenance. She is kind hearted and acts as a nurse at the at the clinic and helps Isshin when they get patients in. Being as she does most of the house chores and cooks the food, most of the house rules were made by her, and if they are not followed, there will be no food for the person who doesn't follow them. Yuzu, like her father, is a rabid fan of Don Kanoji and loves to watch his show "Spirit Hunters".

Karin Kurosaki - Though Yuzu has the skills to cook and clean, Karin couldn't do much in those areas, and decided to stop out of the way and take care of herself after Masaki died. Karin, like Ichigo, doesn't care for Kanoji and his Spirit exorcism show, and doesn't even believe in Spirits, even though she, like Ichigo, can see them. She states that she's in permanent denial, and since she doesn't believe in them, it's as good as them not existing. She loves sports, especially soccer, and recruits Toshiro Hitsugaya for their team while he was in the Human World. She also competes with Jinta for the title of "Karakura Red" on Don Kanoji's "Karakura Super Heroes", having a major competetive spirit. Sado “Chad” Yastutora – The strong silent type, he’s been Ichigo’s friend for a long time. He refuses to lift a finger in his own defense, but will stop at nothing to defend his friends, no matter the cost. During a battle with a Hollow, his own spiritual powers are awakened in the form of armour on his right arm. Capable of firing bursts of spirit energy, he dispatches the Hollow, and falls unconscious. Thus beginning his involvement with the Soul Reapers and Hollows.
Chad's right arm was never meant to attack, during his training with Renji, this fact was made aware to him. His right arm's true form is called Brazo Derecho Del Gigante (spanish translated "Right arm of the Giant"). During his fight with the Privaron Espada Gantenbainne was discovered his left arm's true power, the power to attack! His armor on his left arm is called Brazo Izquierda Del Diablo (spanish translated "Left arm of the Devil"). Chad's ability falls not within the read of the Shinigami, nor the Quincy. During his time in Hueco Mundo the fact that his power is something different entirely became clear to him; that his power is likened to that of a Hollow's!
Chad's the strong silent type, and is a huge fan of anything small and/or cute. As per their vow to each other, Ichigo and Chad fight each other's fights and protect one another no matter the odds.

Orihime Inoue – Ichigo’s friend from high-school, Orihime is a girl that spends a lot of time around Ichigo. When a Hollow attacks the school, Karakura High, something amazing happens. During the battle, Tatsuki, Orhimime’s best friend, steps in to help Orihime, but ends up getting hurt. Desperation hits, and Orihime unwittingly calls upon her own spiritual power in the form of Shun Shun Riga (translated “6 princess shielding flower”), small sprites who can can heal, form a shield, or attack. She must recite the “kotodama”, or spirit chant, and call upon their names and saying the phrase "I reject" first before the specific action can be fulfilled. The names of the each are Ayame, Baigon, Hinagiku, Lily, Shun'ō, and Tsubaki. It is revealed by Aizen that her power is that of "Even rejection", meaning that with her "healing" power, she restores the target to a state before it was affected. During the Hueco Mundo Arc, she is captured by Ulquiorra and taken to Las Noches, and to Aizen. It is assumed that he will use her power to return the Hougyoku to a state before it's hibernation, enabling it to be used fully, though Aizen never says this is his true intention himself. Uryuu Ishida – The last of the Quincys, an ancient race of Hollow fighting humans. Quincys had the ability to see the Hollows, and trained themselves to fight them. Though the Soul Reapers cleanse the Hollows, the Quincys believed the Hollows only deserved death, and destroyed them. Uryuu and Ichigo don’t meet on the best of terms, but they realized each other’s strength is invaluable and end up fighting together against a common foe. Uryuu's one smart cookie, (the top student in his class) and specializes in finding the enemy's weak spot and exploiting it. During battle he employs a bow called Kojaku (translated, "Lone Sparrow") consisting of spirit energy collected from the things around him and fires arrows of the same energy. During his first trip to the Soul Society, he uses a different bow thanks to a glove called the "Sangre Shuto" (covered in-depth on the jargon page), and inevitablly takes it off in his fight with Mayori Kurutsuchi, and transforms into the Quincy Final Form, granting him incredible power, but exceeding the power level humans are able to handle, and ends up draining him of his Quincy powers completely. After training with his father, he regains his power and gets a new bow called "Ginrey Kojyaku" (Silver-Arced Sparrow). Ryuken Ishida - Ishida's father and the rightful bearer of the name "The Last Quincy", though he seems to bitterly loath being a Quincy or the Quincies themselves. Ryuken isn't shown much, other than a few flashbacks of Uryuu's past, until the Arrancar arc when he shows up and saves Uryuu from a Menos. It is then when he extends the offer of helping him regain his Quincy powers under one condition, he must never have any association with the Shinigami. During this "training", he exhausts Uryuu by making his dodge his spirit arrows, then fires one 8mm to the right of his heart; the only way for a Quincy who has lost their powers to the Quincy Final Form to regain them. Ryuken and Isshin seem have some history together, but nothing as to how they know each other has been revealed. Ryuken also runs the local hospital, and appears to be quite successful. ryuken_06_animestocks5Bcom5D.jpg ryuken image by jenmtill

Souken Ishida - The last Quincy to have negotiations with the Shinigami for their cooperation, he is also Uryuu's sensei and taught him everything he knows about the Quincies power, abilities, and history. A kind hearted old man, he tried to help Uryuu understand why Ryuken loathed being a Quincy so passionately. Throught his life, he still attempted to negotiate with the Shinigami to establish a united front against the Hollows, though the erradication of the Quincy happened over 200 years ago; suggesting ways they could cooperate, though their answer was always the same: "Don't interfere with our work". Even though he was under constant surveilence by the Shinigami, he was killed by 5 large Hollows before Uryuu's eyes, and the Shinigami didn't even show up until 2 hours after his death. It was found out by Uryuu in the Soul Society that Mayori Kurutsuchi, Captain of Squad 12 and 2nd Generation head of the the Departement of Research and Development, bribed the Shinigami assigned to Souken to arrive late so that he could disect him and learn more about the Quincies. Jinta Hanakari - A hyper red headed child who works for Urahara at his shop. Jinta uses a large steel club shaped weapon in combat and seems to always be at odds with Ururu during their chores around the shop. When he meets Karin, there seems to be a childhood rivalry that forms between them, especially when Don Kanoji shows up and offers the lead position of "Karakura Red" in his "Karakura Super Heroes" segment he's trying to get on his show.

Ururu Tsumugiya - Ururu is a meek young black haired girl who works for Urahara at his shop. She employs a large shoulder mounted multi-barreled cannon in combat, and seems to take on an almost robotic personality in battle. She is strong for her stature, being able to beat back Yylfordt Granz, the Arrancar, with a single kick to the head. Though she is older than Jinta, he still picks on her and makes her do all the chores when Tessai's not around.

Tessai Tsukabishi - He is Urahara's personal assistant at the shop. He is a large muscular man who knows powerful Kidou, which is evident when he releases a 99 level binding spell without the incantation, but this is to be expected since he is the former Captain of the Kidou Corps. He is a strong individual, able to crush a Hollow with a single open-handed thrust of his palm, and knows a variety of Forbidden Kidou Techniques. He was sentenced to the underground prison #3, "Shugo", for the use of the Forbidden Techniques "Jikan Teishi" and "Kukan Teni", but was rescued along with Urahara by Yoruichi and escaped to the Human World.
